BREAKING – Richard Hammond Involved In Another Crash

While filming in a Rimac Concept One electric super car – known to cost around the $2 million mark – Richard Hammond has crashed.

Thankfully, after being air-lifted to a hospital close to where they were filming in Switzerland for The Grand Tour, we have been told that he has suffered no serious injuries apart from a fractured knee.

He was driving up the Hemburg Hill Climb filming a clip in the much anticipated Rimac when he lost control and hit a grass verge.

The show’s producer says this:

“Richard was conscious and talking, and climbed out of the car himself before the vehicle burst into flames.

“He was flown by air ambulance to hospital in St Gallen to be checked over revealing a fracture to his knee.

“Nobody else was in the car involved in the accident, and we’d like to thank the paramedics on site.”

Jeremy Clarkson has also commented on Twitter about how frightening the crash was to watch:

He’s currently in the hospital being given the once over – we here at Grand Tour Nation wish him the very best of recoveries and look forward to seeing him out on his feet.

We will of course keep you updated on our favourite hamster’s recovery!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
