Grand Tour Trio Rebrand Their Latest Business As It Undergoes Huge Change

FoodTribe, started by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, has undergone a huge rebrand after its sister site DriveTribe.com was taken down.

DriveTribe began as a social media website for car enthusiasts. Alongside this it built up a number of other social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and while initially the website thrived, users were quickly made aware that the site was making very little money.

Earlier this year it was confirmed that the DriveTribe.com website would close down, and now revolves entirely around YouTube and the social sites it initially created, while the website simply documents its following and videos.

The FoodTribe website, which worked in much the same way, was also taken down, and now its social sites have been rebranded to reflect a much wider slew of content from the Grand Tour presenters.

Now called What Next, the YouTube channel released a teaser for what’s to come over the next few months.

“We wanted a place where we could look into the stuff that interests us all,” Hammond tells the camera after introducing the rebranding.

“We’ve made it our mission to shine a light on the interesting, and answer some of life’s big questions.

“Fishing. Why?” he asks.

“What is it about horses? How to wheelie a motorcycle.”

He continues to list questions before showing us a montage of what’s to come before asking the viewers to send in their suggestions.

2A series of talk shows where the trio just sit and talk. About literally anything,” one fan asks for.

“I’ll watch anything that includes James and Richard,” another adds. “This will be fun. But is was kinda sad to see the food tribe fridge in the bin though.”

It looks as though the episodes with James May in his “kitchen bunker” are a thing of the past, but it looks as though the team still have plenty of ideas. We’re looking forward to what they come up with.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
