James May Encounters More Bad Luck In Next Grand Tour Special Episode

With the latest episode of The Grand Tour now released to Prime Video, we’re looking ahead to what the future holds for the show. Well, we don’t have to look too hard for James May as he didn’t get that far before breaking down. Yep, James May had just as much good luck as he did in Norway after the car he was driving in Europe broke down.

Landing in the city of Gdansk in late June, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May began their travels across Europe. Driving a Chevrolet SSR, a Crosley Convertible, and a Mitsuoka Le-Seyde, they headed West across the country to Poland’s Lubusz province. Eventually, they made it to Poznań where they raced open-wheeled racecars at a track.

Hammond, inevitably, crashed. But while on the way to Stalag Luft 3, the Crosley Convertible that May was driving broke down, too. According to the source, it happened in Zielona Góra in the village of Miodnica.

As you can see, a number of people are helping James May push the classic car onto a trailer as producer Andy Wilman watches from the sidelines.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
