James May’s ‘Oh Cook!’ Season Two Release Date Confirmed
The Grand Tour host James May has confirmed the release date of the second series of his hit cooking show ‘Oh Cook!‘. The show will be available on Prime Video on 24th May 2023.
Taking to Twitter to share the news, May wrote:
“For anyone tired of slickly presented and authoritative food shows, Oh Cook! (2) comes out, half baked, on 24th May.”
In 2020, the initial season of ‘Oh Cook!’ premiered on Prime Video. The program featured James May taking on a range of diverse recipes with the guidance of home economist Nikki Morgan. ‘Oh Cook!: 60 Easy Recipes That Any Idiot Can Make,’ a cookbook by May, was also released in response to the show’s popularity.
The Prime Video series was a massive success, garnering a 4.5-star rating out of 5, much like May’s travel series ‘James May: Our Man In Japan.’
Although no specifics have been revealed about the second season of ‘Oh Cook!’, it is thought to have seven episodes, similar to the first season.
Today’s announcement has raised questions amongst fans as to whether the second series will lead to a second cooking book. One fan commented:
“Will we get another cookbook to compliment it? If so than I shall own 2 cookbooks”
