Jeremy Clarkson And Richard Hammond Take To The Water In Grand Tour Filming

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May continue their stint of filming as they reach Slovenia on their long European trip. Now, both Clarkson and Hammond have been spotted on the water as they reach almost their third week on the road.

Landing in Gdansk almost two weeks ago, the trio has driven across Poland in a Chevrolet SSR, a Crosley Convertible, and a Mitsuoka Le-Seyde. May’s Crosley eventually broke down, and he was forced to drive an embarrassing (for him) hotrod based on a 1959 Ford Popular.

After Richard Hammond crashed at a track in Poznan, they made their way to Slovakia where May drove an AirCar, a Slovakian-made flying car.

Now, Clarkson and Hammond have been seen in yet another form of vehicle – this time a lot simpler than a flying car – a rowing boat. A video taken by @radio1slo was documented by Richard_Hammond_TR, a fan account of the trio.

There are no clues at to what they’re doing, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Richard Hammond fall into the lake. From what we can see, this looks to be Lake Bled, found in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia. This area is a huge tourist destination and only 55km from the country’s capital city, Ljubljana.

We’ll likely see more videos and photos be released with so many people watching the action.

James May wasn’t seen at this location, or at a recent interview by @radio1slo. Hopefully we’re able to catch up with him soon.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
