Jeremy Clarkson Fires Shots At Top Gear Presenter Paddy McGuinness: “What The F**k Am I Watching?”

Jeremy Clarkson has responded to his Top Gear successor Paddy McGuinness, claiming that he has no idea who he is after watching the rebooted A Question Of Sport.

McGuinness fired shots at Jeremy when the Grand Tour presenter criticized him highly on his show, A Question of Sport. Jeremy initially asked a rhetorical question to his 7.5 million followers on Twitter upon watching the rebooted sports show:

“What on earth has happened to A Question of Sport?” the ex-Top Gear presenter asked.

Paddy was quick to respond, firing back at the presenter after he’d taken his spot on BBC’s Top Gear:

“The same thing that’s happened to Top Gear JC. New personnel, bigger ratings. Love you.”

This response from the current Top Gear presenter, who works alongside Chris Harris and Freddy Flintoff on the show, angered fans who were quick to defend Jeremy. But Jeremy had a secret weapon up his sleeve in the form of his relationship with The Sun, a national paper in the UK.

Talking to The Sun, he said the following:

“I didn’t know who the man hosting Question of Sport was. I thought, ‘What the f**k am I watching? What is this program?’

“A large number of people who I didn’t know were all shouting, ‘What has happened to Question of Sport? And then it turned out the man in the middle of it all does Top Gear.”

He continued:

“It was only later that I realized that Martin McGuinness, oh no he’s the IRA. Paddy McGuinness.

I read a piece about him the other day, and he seems a nice enough chap but Christ, Question of Sport… it’s a long way from Bill Beaumont isn’t it?

“I don’t understand. Why would you want to change the format? It was so good.”

Question of Sport has seen its viewership drop massively after Sue Barker’s 24 years on the show came to an end. Paddy McGuinness replaced Barker, with the team captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell being replaced with Sam Quek and Ugo Monye.
