Jeremy Clarkson Questions Tiger Woods’ Injuries After Huge Crash: “It’s Odd”

In a career that has spanned over two decades, Jeremy Clarkson has seen his fair share of car accidents, especially involving his co-presenter Richard Hammond. Now, with years and years of experience behind the wheels of cars on shows such as Top Gear and more recently The Grand Tour, he was intrigued by the Tiger Woods crash.

The crash, which took place in LA the day after the golfer hosted the annual Genesis Invitational at the Riviera Country Club, saw his car leave the road after he lost control.

But the presenter didn’t understand how the events leading up to the crash resulted in such n incident.

Writing in his column for The Times, he revealed that he’d “never really understood” the events of the crash.

“Sure, police say he was driving at more than 80mph when he lost control, but it was a wide road,” the Clarkson’s Farm presenter wrote.

“He’s a thrusting young man with a thriving pant compass and a sharp mind so the speed shouldn’t have been a factor.

“What’s more relevant is that he hit the central reservation and careered across the road before hitting a tree at what experts say was 75mph.

“So he obviously hadn’t braked very hard in the meantime,” he continued.

“Then he rolled over several times before emerging from the wreckage with nothing more than a hurty leg.

“Like I say, it’s odd.”

Jeremy didn’t quite go into enough detail with the injuries Woods suffered from the crash. It was later revealed that he’d suffered open fractures of the upper and lower tibia, as well as the fibula. He also damaged his right leg, which was operated on following the incident.
