Just How Bad Is Jeremy Clarkson’s Pneumonia?
As we all know, it’s very difficult to put a stop to the Clarkson humour we all adore. Even in hospital recovering from pneumonia he’s still cracking jokes. In an interview with The Sun, he explains how he spent five days on holiday in Majorca, then was taken straight to hospital. He’s now running low on underwear.
He also shows them an scan of his chest which shows the amount of fluid on his lungs.
When the interviewer from The Sun asked if he could get him anything, even some underwear, he replied, “Nah. I’ve got a rock hammer and a big poster of Raquel Welch. All a man needs,” after joking about a “new lung”. For those who don’t know, that’s a joke about The Shawshank Redemption – a brilliant film if you haven’t seen it.
The NHS website explains how severe pneumonia can take 6-8 weeks to fade, and Jeremy is expecting to stay in hospital for up to a week before resting at his home
