Kaleb Cooper Reveals Sad Change To His Christmas Following Difficult Year: “It’s Going To Be A Little Strange”

Due to a tragic family loss, Clarkson’s Farm farm manager Kaleb Cooper has stated that this Christmas will be different to those that came before it. The tractor driver, that received huge praise after he appeared next to Jeremy Clarkson at Diddly Squat Farm, has explained what his Christmas will look like this year.

Clarkson’s Farm quickly rose to the top of Amazon Prime Video when it was released earlier this year. It became one of the most highly praised to ever hit the streaming platform, and those involved, including Kaleb, Gerald Cooper, and Charlie Ireland, have rightfully become popular names.

Jeremy was also praised for bringing light to the reality of farming and the difficulties behind making a return on investment within the industry as he fought for revenue from his farm in the Cotswolds.

Kaleb, who is an important cog in the Diddly Squat machine, has told fans how his Christmas has been affected by what happened this year in a column for The Sunday Times.

He admitted that he will be “taking a break” this year now he doesn’t need to attend to dairy cows at 3 am, which he has previously done on Christmas in the past.

Despite this, he’ll still be feeding, cleaning, and caring for Jeremy’s cows before he gets to open any presents with his family, which includes a new 9-month-old baby.

He told fans that he’s “looking forward to a lie-in till dawn at least”, as “Jeremy’s are beef cows not dairy cows so they don’t need milking”.

But he admitted that this year has been hard for him, and this Christmas will be different because of it:

“I’ll have lunch at my mum’s – Rachael – with my other half, Taya, who’s a dog groomer, and Oscar, my nine-month-old,” he began.

“I lost my gramp this year, so it’s going to be a little bit strange. He was like the role model in my life.”

Later in the day he’ll see his father Mark, with who he’ll have a game of rummy after his family lunch.

“To be honest with you, I think I grew up too quickly because of family stuff that was going on,” he penned.

“I had to step up and help with the bills. I got my own chickens and sold eggs on Saturday mornings and that paid the electric.

“But I don’t regret anything I’ve done in terms of growing up.”

He also reveals to fans his plans on buying a farm of his own, admitting that he’d been saving up already. We very much hope Kaleb achieves this dream.
