McLaren 720S Gets Novitec N-Largo Upgrades – Serious Power With Senna Looks
The McLaren 720S has widely been known as the perfect supercar for some time now. It’s incredibly fast yet perfectly usable, and the Roadster version removes the disconnection from the outside world while retaining structural rigidity thanks to the strong carbon-fibre monocoque.
Now, just like the Coupe version, the 720S Spider has undergone the Novitec N-Largo treatment not just with a new wide and aggressive bodykit, but on its already potent performance. It sits 60mm wider at the front and 130mm wider at the rear to make space for wider wheels from Vossen with an extreme concave design and centre lock. They’re wrapped in Pirelli P Zero high-performance tyres.
Much more intimidating front and rear bumps look like they’re straight from the Senna, and a lowering of 35mm front and back only emphasises the aggressive stance of this British supercar. This striking bodykit was perfected in wind tunnels to improve downforce and reduce drag, but N-Largo doesn’t finish there.
Under the panels, an optional upgrade sees the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 produce 795bhp and 648 lb-ft of torque. That’s an increase of 85bhp and 80lb-ft over the stock performance, and allows the car to hit 62mph in an alarming 2.7 seconds, 124mph in 7.5 seconds, and if you mash the throttle, the car won’t stop until it hits 215mph.
An exhaust is also available from the German tuning company in the shape of a lightweight Inconel system, and they’ll further add specially tuned sports springs and a custom interior leather and Alcantara “in a virtually endless variety of colours” if that’s what the customer wants.
