The Grand Tour: 5 Cars The Clarkson & Co Need To Drive Before The Show Ends

We’ve seen some amazing cars being reviewed on The Grand Tour by our favourite presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. But now, as the trio focus on specials and are seriously ramping down their level of production with only one episode per year right now, we worry how long they’ve got left in the driver’s seat.

So before The Grand Tour comes to its eventual end, what do we want to see the presenters review on the big screen? Here are our thoughts.

1. Tesla Cybertruck

The boys have always had an interesting time with Tesla vehicles, with the original Tesla Roadster causing a stir after it apparently broke down during a Top Gear shoot. This quickly made headlines and caused a few issues for the California-based company. Then, The Grand Tour featured the Model X and, well, it wasn’t a surprise that it didn’t go down to well in the eyes of the trio.

So come one, we surely can’t let the Cyvertruck go without a full review from the boys can we?

2. Aston Martin Valkyrie

The Valkyrie is ready to rewrite the rulebook of just how fast a road car can be, so it’s only right that we get to see one of the trio test it on a track somewhere. Unfortunately, it’s likely we’ll never see the Eboladrome on The Grand Tour again, but this car would be too fast for that confined track anyway.

After enjoying the Vulcan’s review so much, this has to happen.

3. Hennessey Venom F5

We’ve been waiting for this car to hit the road for a long time, ever since Hennessey first stated it was working on a car that would eventually take the record for the fastest production road car in the world. While Richard Hammond hasn’t had the best track record for driving fast cars, we’d love to see him live the American dream behind the wheel of one of these.

4. BMW iX

This choice is less about wanting them to review the car, but more just for the excellent one-liners we’d get as they sink their eyes into that grille. It really is huge, especially when you remember that this car is entirely electric, and therefore not in need of that huge eyesore that merely houses a number of sensors.

5. Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA

Clarkson’s love for Alfa isn’t exactly a secret, so when the GTA was revealed to the world, we’re sure he was watching. Even more powerful than the popular Giulia with 533bhp, we’d love to watch Clarkson enjoy the car during a road trip special.

What cars do you want to see driven by the trio? Let us know in the comments.
