The Grand Tour: Jeremy Clarkson And Co Wear Masks Flying Home From Filming

The Grand Tour’s travels through Scotland have come to an end with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and Andy Wilman flying home while wearing masks on a small turboprop airplane. Clarkson posted the following to Instagram:

The filming, which consisted of the trio behind the wheels of three classic American cars, didn’t last long with them only being first spotted with cameras late last week when they stopped for the night at the Atholl Palace hotel, a four-star venue in Pitlochry. Their journey saw them travel from Edinburgh to the Hebrides, with a number of stops and challenges along the way.

Their initial challenge saw them tow caravans behind their cars: a Cadillac, a Lincoln, and a Buick. These were eventually modified quite drastically, with one taking on the look of a cow with white base paint, black spots, and a huge udder at the rear. Later on, these caravans had disappeared, but the trio had modified their cars for a rumoured drag race.

Finally, the cars were seen boarding a ferry for the Hebrides, and the trio left after a couple of days on the islands before returning home wearing masks. Moments before the embedded Instagram post at the top of this article, Clarkson uploaded another post, questioning why he’d choose to be in a bubble with Hammond and May.

Of course, the comments were flooded with questions regarding the next Madagascar special, which was rumoured to be released on December 11 later this year but was recently confirmed to us that this was not the case.

Hopefully, we get some news soon from Amazon regarding the potential release of the next episode as fans are starting to get impatient.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
