The Grand Tour: Jeremy Clarkson Still Owns The Jeep Wrangler From Columbia Special – Spotted

It turns out that us fans are incredibly interested in where vehicles from The Grand Tour, and before that Top Gear, have gone after their features on the car shows. We’ve already done full writeups on cars such as the MFB Bentley Continental from the Madagascar Special A Massive Hunt, and the Lancia Beta from the Top Gear Botswana Special, but now Jeremy Clarkson’s Jeep Wrangler from The Grand Tour’s Columbia special has been spotted. And guess what? It still belongs to the presenter.

Thanks to a user on Reddit who goes by the name of u/apple_the_melon who went to visit Clarkson’s farm, Diddly Squat, we now have a video of where the Jeep is stored, and it looks as though it’s available to be seen when visiting the potentially failing establishment.

As you can see, the Jeep that caused controversy when Clarkson made it the centre of a number of gay jokes during the Season 3 special sits comfortably on his land. At the time, singer Will Young picked up on this on Twitter, launching an assault against the show, slating it as being homophobic.

He carried on further since these tweets, but you get the picture…

Jeremy Clarkson later responded to these accusations, saying the following in a column:

“But this week, he went berserk on Twitter, saying that I’d been homophobic in the most recent episode of The Grand Tour,” Clarkson writes.

“Many gay people who’d seen the show said they couldn’t see a problem. None of my leftie friends could either. One even said I should tell him to stop being so gay.

“I won’t do that though. And nor will I suggest, once again, that mobile phones should be fitted with breathalysers to stop people drinking and tweeting.”

He ended the column simply:

“I’m sorry and I’ll prove it”, Clarkson wrote: “No. Instead, I will apologise to Will for causing him some upset and reassure him that I know I’m not homophobic as I very much enjoy watching lesbians on the internet.”

As far as we can tell, the Wrangler is in the same condition it was in when the trio completed their Columbian journey, minus of course a replaced windscreen. Maybe we’ll get to see more as the shop becomes more and more open to the public in the coming months.
