The Grand Tour’s Abbie Eaton Reveals Good News Months After Breaking Back

We’ve been giving fans updates on Abbie Eaton after her incident during the W Series since it happened late last year. Racing in Austin, Texas, her car hit a kerb on turn 15, launching her car into the air. As it hit the ground with force, it compressed her spine, breaking two vertebrae.

This forced her to stop racing and to undertake physio. Fortunately, a GoFundMe page was created on her behalf which raised almost £30,000 from 678 donations.

Now, The Grand Tour racing driver has updated fans once again, and it’s good news.

“Finally brace free!!! Spine looks good, bones look strong, time needed for body to adjust to the new alignment my back has to take, but such great news! Time to take the next step in my rehab journey  Thank you to every single one of you that’ve supported me.”

We can’t wait to see what Abbie does next, so make sure you follow her so you can keep up to date. As usual, we’ll keep you up to date, too.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
