Top Gear Will Return For New Series This November: First Look

The All New Top Gear is back, and it’s even more spectacular than ever with everything from electric caravans to a trip to the British Grand Prix.

Presenters Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris are at it once again and this time, they’re exploring as many modes of transport as possible, with them even getting some zorbing experience for the sake of our entertainment.

This new series is also expanding internationally with an episode set in Iceland. Of course, there will be a slew of luxurious and modern sports cars to play with such as the Rolls Royce Dawn, Lamborghini Huracan, Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, McLaren 765LT, and Aston Martin V8 Vantage F1 Edition. I can already smell the tire smoke.

They’re also taking a trip back in time as they get behind the wheel of the DMC DeLorean made famous by the iconic film, Back To The Future. As we’ve seen before, the trio doesn’t have much luck when it comes to classic and retro cars, so we’ll have to see how this one goes…

We see in the first look clip that Paddy will pay homage to the legendary Eddie Kidd, a stunt driver who worked on many James Bond films. In 1996, while at the Bulldog Bash at Stratford-Upon-Avon, the renowned driver was left paralysed and with brain damaged as a result of an accident. Despite this, he still gets in the passenger seat with Paddy for a trip across England.

There are plenty of explosions and stunts of their own though as they hit our screens in November. With The Grand Tour leaving us for months between episodes, we can’t wait to get our fill of cars on the screen.

Top Gear returns this November on BBC One.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
