Paul Walker’s 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback Is Going Up For Sale At Auction

If you’re a fan of the late-great Paul Walker, and missed your opportunity to pick up any of his vast car collection last time it was at auction, rejoice! The star’s Raven Black 1969 Boss 429 Mustang is being put up for auction next month, at the Indiana State Fair. With an original NASCAR-derived 820-T engine and close-ratio Toploader 4-speed manual transmission it is still a monster of a car with 375 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque.

The 69 Boss Fastback in Raven Black is already a very sought-after and rare car, valued at around $200k, not accounting for it’s Fast and Furious owner. This particular model, with its original bodywork (wide hood scoop!) and low 14,575 miles, will surely fetch well above standard price.

The KK 1773 serial number, refers to the Kar-Kraft company, which Ford contracted to work on all the Boss 429s. They would fit the massive semi-hemi 429 CI V-8s, and then rework the fender lips for the F60-15 bias-ply tires and 15×7 Magnum 500 wheels. Additionally, all the 429s came with competition type suspension- utilizing shock absorbers and heavy-duty springs- as well as sway bars, power steering, and front disk brakes.

The Deluxe Decor interior, comes with some nice high-back bucket seats, wood-grain vinyl accents, and an AM radio.

It can all be yours, if you tune into the Indy 2020 Mecum Auction, June 19-28.
