Fast and Furious 9: UFC’s Ngannou Joins Cast Alongside Dwayne Jonson and Vin Diesel

The long lasting Fast and Furious franchise is gaining yet another heavyweight member of the cast with Francis Ngannou partnering with the likes of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.

This heavyweight UFC fighter has been confirmed to be joining the cast by ESPN who contacted his  representatives at CAA last Wednesday.

Fast and Furious 9: UFC's Ngannou Joins Cast

Despite the role not officially being announced, Deadline.com was the first to report on this story.

Ngannou isn’t the first UFC fighter to at least temporarily join the cast. Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey and MMA star Gina Carano have both had roles in previous Fast and Furious films.

Ngannou is a large man with a height of 6-foot-4 and weighing in at 256lbs. The Cameroonian fighter has fought in France and Las Vegas, and has won three straight UFC fights, all by knockout or TKO. His success has him in line for the next UFC heavyweight title.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
