First Images Of Fast X Revealed Ahead Of Trailer Release
The long-awaited two-part finale of the iconic Fast & Furious franchise is finally here, and it’s bringing an all-new level of excitement and adventure to the franchise as they gear up for their last drive. Now, images have been released which tease the story to come.
Fast X, the first part of the two-part extravaganza and the tenth (11th if you include Hobbs and Shaw) is set to rev up the engines of movie theatres this May. But fortunately Empire Magazine has released an exclusive first look at the film, tantalizing fans with a glimpse of what’s in store.
While the plot details are still under wraps, but the sneak peek offers a first glimpse at two of the most highly-anticipated characters of the film – Jason Momoa’s Dante, the big bad guy of the film, and Brie Larson’s Tess, who looks ready to cause some trouble of her own as she wields a shotgun. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Fast & Furious film without the return of the Grandfather of the family, Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto.
With filming starting in April 2022, this first look gives us an idea of the mix of old and new faces in the film, which delves into the backstory of the Toretto family and the tensions between Dom and his brother, Jakob Toretto, played by John Cena.
Fans can also expect to see some legendary Hollywood talent joining the cast, including Rita Moreno as Dom’s grandmother and Daniela Melchior, who has been rumoured to have some connection to the Toretto family. We’ll also have our favourites back such as Sung Kang, Jordana Brewster, and potentially even the late Paul Walker.
Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, Lucas Black, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, Jason Tobin, and Anna Sawai are also returning to for Fast X, and Diesel has also expressed his hopes of bringing back Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs. Alan Ritchson and Cardi B are also said to be hitting our screens in the film.
Fast X is set to blaze into theatres on May 19, 2023, and fans can expect to be in for a wild ride filled with heart-pumping action, high-speed chases, and edge-of-your-seat suspense. Check out the gallery below:
