The $250,000 Subaru Impreza – The Car With A House’s Prce Tag

Before we properly start, I want to ask you something. What would you do with $250,000? It doesn’t have to be car related, it could be a house, could be 250,000 bars of chocolate. Or it could be a car. Let me know in the comments.

Now, the article… This is a 2002 Subaru Impreza. It’s won several rewards for best in show, and nearly every aspect of the car has been changed or upgraded.

How much money has the owner, Alex Witkin, invested into this build? You guessed it – $250,000.

The engine has been completely rebuilt from scratch with a fully enclosed nitrous system, it has dual fueling systems, a completely overhauled suspension, and many many more modifications like a ten point roll cage to make this car one of the best Imprezas ever built, depending on your own tastes of course.

The question is, is it worth it? Let me know what you think in the comments, but my opinion is that I’d rather have a house. Sorry.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
