Chevrolet Corvette C8 2021 Pricing Is Frozen – Big News For Fans
The 2020 edition of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has had a bumpy start to life to say the least, first it was burdened by UAW strike which lasted for weeks and then the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the globe halting production a their Bowing Green Production Plant. Thankfully though the plant is back up and running again, and while the production year is very much shortened, they are working hard to get as many of the 2020 models out this year.
In a recent article by Motor Trend, they reported that there will not be a price increase for the 2021 C8 Corvette, coming in at $59,995 for the hardtop and $67,496 for the convertible version.
There is more good news coming out of Corvette too, as buyers won’t need to pay out for the Z51 Performance Package in order to get Magnetic Ride Control suspension, as it’ll now come as standard on all models.
We have seen a number of reports claiming that potential buyers are too late to place an order for the 2020 C8, but there is apparently no reason to be concerned, as Corvette Chief Engineer, Tadge Juechter, said to Motor Trend:
“We initially said we would start taking 2021 Corvette orders at the end of this month but, again, due to the plant being down for two months, we’re adjusting that timing to late July,” he said.
Good news for Corvette fans and we expect the majority of the industry to follow suit in due course. We’re excited things are starting to get back up and running. Brace yourselves for some huge announcements from car manufacturers in the coming weeks.
