Constance Nunes – Who Is The Car Masters Rust To Riches Presenter?

Constance Nunes is known for her work on the show Car Masters: Rust To Riches. And while her being there caused a bit of controversy due to viewers not believing she wasn’t actually doing any of the work, she quickly became a fan-favourite.

But what did she do before she joined the reality show, and how did she get into the automotive industry? Here’s everything you need to know about Constance Nunes.

Where Did The Passion For Car Mechanics Start?

Constance’s passion for mechanics wasn’t a recent thing. It actually started when she was a child as she watched her father work on cars and even race them. Constance would eventually start lending a hand when she realised that the love of cars was in her genes.

Obviously, having a father already deep into the industry was a great push for her, after all, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. But the presenter insists that her father didn’t prioritise her over anyone else.

In fact, he actually fired her, pushing her to work harder.

“You taught me so much,” she posted on her Instagram in a Father’s Day post. “But never allowed me to fall back on your success or accomplishments. You always wanted me to make my own name, but supported my goals endlessly.”

Initially, she built her own cars, but eventually found herself working in the service departments of manufacturers such as BMW, Audi, Acura, and Ford. Here, she also began her role as an aftermarket director.

Constance’s First Project Car – The Babystang

Nunes is known for her classic car restorations, and this interest began when she was just 16 when she was given a 1964 Ford Mustang. Over time, many hours, and plenty of money, Constance would evolve this car into what’s now known as the Babystang.

She still hasn’t sold it despite its rising value, and we don’t think she ever will.

Constance’s Modelling Career

While Constance is a badass mechanic, she also had a successful career as a model after she was discovered at a race event with her father. And while she’s a presenter first, it’s clear that she hasn’t lost any interest in modelling.

Her career spans from working at automotive events to joining huge automotive campaigns for some of the largest automotive companies in the world.

She’s even featured in an advert next to legendary actor Christopher Walken that was released during the 2016 Super Bowl. On top of this, she’s featured in a number of music videos alongside the likes of Paris Hilton, Enrique Iglesias, and Pitbull.

Precision Driver For Movies

Not only is Constance Nunes good under the hood, but she’s also very talented behind the wheel. She worked in Hollywood as a stunt driver on movies such as DodgeBall and Bring It On 3 and 5.

While this is only a side hustle for the talented driver, it’s no secret that she’s multi-talented.

Now, she’s started her own shop called Cars By Constance which can be found in Murrieta, California. Despite this, she’ll still be found in Gotham Garage every once in a while.
