F1 News: Haas Reveals First Livery of 2023 Season With Exciting New Look

The Haas F1 Team has revealed its new VF-23 car livery for the 2023 season, which marks the first season of the partnership between Haas and its title sponsor, MoneyGram. The team, which is American-owned, is finally able to dig itself out of financial difficulty after securing funding from the money transfer company. This is also the first year Haas will hit the budget cost cap.

“I was very pleased to welcome MoneyGram as title partner for the 2023 season and beyond, and it’s exciting to see our first livery unveiled together as MoneyGram Haas F1 Team,” said Haas owner Gene Haas. “We head into a new season buoyed by some strong team performances last year and a return to points paying finishes. The aim for the 2023 season is naturally to do that more consistently.”

MoneyGram Chairman and CEO, Alex Holmes, also shared his excitement:

“It’s been thrilling to experience two global organizations truly come together as one team to form the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. We’ve collaborated in lockstep to bring this livery to life.”

Team principal Guenther Steiner also expressed his excitement:

“I like the livery, it’s undoubtedly a more elevated and modernized look which is fitting as we move into a new era alongside MoneyGram as our title partner. It’s an exciting time of year for Formula 1 and it’s great that we’re first out the gate to showcase our livery but our attention is firmly on getting the VF-23 on-track and preparing for the season ahead.”

The next team to reveal their car is Red Bull, on February 3 in New York. Fans are also eagerly awaiting news on a possible new partnership from 2026.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
