Fast X Trailer: The Next Fast and Furious Film Is Here And It Looks Insane

It’s been half a year since the filming of Fast X, the highly-anticipated 10th instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise, wrapped up. With its release only a few months away, fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting this two-part finale, which, according to the team behind the movie, has been in the works for years. The first trailer, released only moments ago, fills the screen with huge explosions, more racing than you can shake a stick at, and more flashbacks than Titanic.

In the trailer, we see Dom looking back at his early career, reflecting on the path he’s taken and the life he wants to pass on to his son. As the head of the family, Dom is torn between preserving his legacy and protecting those closest to him, but yet again is pulled back into the action as an old enemy steps out of the shadows – again – in the form of Jason Momoa’s villainous Dante.

A number of the cast have returned for the triumphant finale of the franchise which now spans 11 films. This includes John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham, and Sung Kang. Louis Leterrier is new to the team, taking over as director after Justin Lin left the movie due to creative differences. Rita Moreno and Alan Ritchson are also new to the cast.

“How do you choose the ones you save?” Dante asks Dom as they line up for a street race during the trailer. That’s a very good question!

There are plenty of cars and even a few motorbikes in the upcoming movie. And personally, I do think it looks better than Fast 9 which was, quite frankly, a bit weird. Someone’s already identified every single car in the Fast X trailer, so if you fancy, go check that out here.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
