LEGO Replies To The Tesla Cybertruck With Hilarious Comment

The easiest car to build with LEGO is, obviously, the Tesla Cybertruck. Okay, I’m joking, but there’s no getting around the angular design of Silicon Valley’s new all-electric pickup truck. It’s caused quite a stir, and this was LEGO’s response.

“The evolution of the truck is here,” LEGO says. “Guaranteed shatterproof.”

Obviously, LEGO is poking fun at the fact that Elon Musk and his head designer Franz von Holzhausen damaged the so-called ‘armour glass’, that should have been bulletproof, with a thrown steel ball. Musk has recently given us a reason as to why the glass broke. You can read that here, but let me warn you, it doesn’t quite ad up.

The LEGO image resembles the press images sent out by Tesla with the glowing blue hue  on the left and red at the rear.

The Tesla Cybertruck has been accepting deposits for when it’s released over the next couple of years at a starting price of just under $40,000. The LEGO model you can see above can be made far more cheaply, but produces less torque.

Want it? Well it’s about four pieces so it can’t be that difficult to work out.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
