Lewis Hamilton To Open Vegan Burger Restaurants Internationally – ‘Neat Burger’
Legendary Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton is expanding is portfolio of income by opening a vegan burger restaurant chain.
Alongside UNICEF ambassador and early backer of Beyond Meat, Tommaso Chiabra, the two will be slowly building an international restaurant chain called Neat Burger, building on the growing trend of veganism.
Hamilton says, “I’m very passionate about being kinder to our world and also really respect Neat Burger’s commitment to more ethical practices and supporting small businesses, so this is something I’m also really proud to support.
“But it is also about the product. As someone who follows a plant-based diet, I believe we need a healthier high street option that tastes amazing but also offers something exciting to those who want to be meat-free every now and again.”
The first restaurant will pop up on Regent Street in Mayfair, London with an opening date of September 2nd. Following this, Hamilton plans to build the franchise to 14 locations globally over the next two years.
It’s not a surprise that the menu will consist of only plant-based food, with the headlining dish being ‘The Neat’. Other dishes include ‘The Cheese’, ‘The Chick’n’ and ‘The Hot Dog’, with the most popular sides surely being skinny fries, sweet potatoes fries and tater tots.
Thirsty? Well take a swig of some Just Water, an eco-friendly brand launched by Jaden Smith. Or maybe some ethical Lemonade sodas? There are dairy-free soft serve, coconut and soya-based milkshakes and plant-based Toast Ales to tickle your taste buds.
With the endorsement of Lewis Hamilton, this very well could push the vegan lifestyle into that of the public eye even more than it already is. And with a menu that looks mouthwatering to both those who eat meat and those who don’t, it could become a very popular eating destination.
