New McLaren Ultimate Series Hypercar BC-03 Pictures Leaked Online
There seems to be an endless supply of new McLaren models recently, but there’s still one more to add to the family. It’s not supposed to be revealed yet, but photos of the new Ultimate Series McLaren have already been leaked onto Instagram.
Codenamed BC-03, it’s a hypercar based on the track toy Senna but with an additional electric powertrain which runs alongside the combustion engine like the P1. Where the Senna ‘only’ produces 789bhp, this new car is expected to produce a mind blowing 1,150bhp of hybrid power. The track-warping suspension from the Senna will also trickle down to this new model, as well as its carbon fibre tub and 4.0-litre turbocharged V8.
From outside, the exterior takes on some hints of the pod-style designs which are currently making their way onto the road in the form of the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Mercedes-Benz AMG ONE. And the rear wing looks like its come straight from a Le Mans racing car, blending in with the lines of the car while also looking perfectly daunting. The rear body beneath the wing takes on a slight teardrop shape reminiscent of the recently revealed Speedtail, too.
McLaren will surely be working hard to make sure this is one of the best cars on the road, but with only 6 units being made, it’s also going to hold one of the largest price tags. The price is currently unknown, but details will more than likely be revealed soon.
