This Ford F-150 Raptor Mustang Mash Up Needs To Happen

Ford have been pumping a lot of time and effort into their off road division with the likes of the F-150 and the Bronco coming to mind as extremely strong 4×4 contenders.

The F-150 Raptor is a particular favourite among fans with it’s means looks and insane power from its twin-turbocharged 3.5l EcoBoost V6 engine that produces a whopping 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque.

We know there is a new F-150 Raptor coming soon and we also know that Ford are working on the smaller, but equally beastly, Ranger Raptor. While both releases are incredibly exciting, it hasn’t stopped car designers imaginations from running wild and we’re starting to see some incredible cross model amalgamations.

First up is the Explorer Raptor, part Ford Explorer and part Ford F-150 Raptor, all off road, thanks to the guys at Ford Authority. Sounds quite cool doesn’t it? And let me tell you, it looks pretty good as well. The render is indicative of a classic Ford F-150 Raptor look but with elements of Explorer such as the suspension lift and skid plate up front.

Next up is the Ford Puma Raptor and this one is an interesting one to say the least, based on the F-150 and a Ford Puma. We love the huge Ford lettering at the front, but sadly it looks too much like a Nissan Juke for me. If you ask anyone who knows me, I absolutely despise the Nissan Juke so sadly the Puma Raptor is not to my taste.

So while the Puma Raptor render wasn’t my cup of tea, credit to its designer, KDesign, for putting it together. KDesign is well know for their Raptor renderings and re-imaginations and they have come up with an absolute beauty for us next.

Let me present to you KDesigns cross over between a F-150 Raptor and a Ford Mustang, yes you heard.. a Mustang. I’m super excited about this one, I know it might be unpopular but I love super sporty SUV’s such as the Lamborghini Urus, Range Rover Sport and even the Jaguar F Pace so the Raptor Mustang, or the Raptorstang, is right up my street. Just take a look.

It is a bit of a strange mash up but we actually think the mean looking front fascia seems to work with the Raptor’s design quite nicely. The addition of the massive Ford lettering over the front grille really brings together the Mustang and Raptor look. We can only imagine what kind of beast this thing has under the engine too.

We’d imagine that Ford would never crossover the Mustang and the F-150 Raptor, but we’d personally love to see it and we’re sure a whole lot of people would buy it too. People love speed and love grit and strength in a vehicle too, this seems like the perfect amalgamation of both.
