This Tesla Crash Resulted In A Fine Of $10.5 Million Dollars

A Fort Lauderdale jury found that Tesla was 1% negligent for the 2019 Tesla Model S crash that resulted in the passing of Barrett Riley who was just 18 years old.

The incident took place on the 8th May 2018, where Barrett Riley was driving his father’s Tesla Model S with some of his friends. Riley was travelling at 116 miles per hour when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the wall of a house before it went up in flames.
