Video: Driverless Tesla Gets Pulled Over During Smart Summon

On downloading this update, Tesla warns that the driver will be full responsible for anything the car does during Smart Summoning, and it should only be used on private land. Of course, some owners are ignoring this and are getting themselves into trouble – we must remember that this is only in a beta stage of testing, why Tesla trusts owners to keep to these rules, we don’t know, but that’s another question for another day.

The YouTube channel DragTimes have got their hands on a Tesla Model 3 and while testing Smart Summon in a carpark, found that the police will pull over a Tesla just as easily as anyone else when it doesn’t stop for a stop sign. Although to the officer’s surprise, there was no one in the driver’s seat.

Yep, okay, I can see how this looks. It does look remarkably set up, but doesn’t make it any less funny when the officer walks up to the side of the car and looks around with a look of sincere confusion.
