Rumour: Is Buick Rebranding Itself For An All-Electric Future As It Reveals New Logo

Buick has released an all-new logo as it follows in the footsteps of GM, GMC, and a host of other American car manufacturers. This completely black logo was trademarked on March 16, 2022, and according to GM Authority, will be used for vehicle maintenance and repair.

With the serial number 97314519, the application was filed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office stating that it will be used for “motor land vehicles, namely Automobiles”, and names the logo,  “Three stylized shields”. This will be Buick’s 17th logo change since its conception in 1904.

With a number of manufacturers turning to their most iconic cars from their histories, I’m really wishing we might see the return of the famous Grand National which was an innovative car at the time. Can this be replicated for the modern day? We can hope, right?
