This Porsche Mission C Shooting Brake Render Excites Us For The EV Future

Porsche was proud to reveal its first proper step into the world of complete electrification with the Taycan back in September. But while we’ve heard that Porsche will introduce an armada of all-electric cars, we have no idea what’s going to come next, and in what form. Thankfully, we know a guy who’s a bit talented at designing a car render.

This is the Porsche Mission C by Rain Prisk, and oh dear Lord we want to get our hands on it. There are few things in life better than a shooting brake. But whack on a Porsche badge and the Taycan’s positively reviewed all-electric chassis, and you’re on for a winner.

Using the Cayman as a base, Prisk was able to form the shooting brake shape which we all know and love. Just like the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, it has only two doors but a ‘bread van’ rear end meaning there’s plenty of space for your kids and luggage, while maintaining a cool and sporty look. Although saying that, I can’t see the boot outline…

The rear of the car incorporates the rear brake light that runs the width of the car, plus another light above the rear windscreen at the tail end of the swooping roofline. The wheels are big, with incredibly low-profile tyres like any other concept render. And it has chunky wheel arches to cover the typical-Porsche wide tyres.

It’s a great shame we aren’t treated to the front of the car, but we can imagine it would look similar to the front of the gorgeous looking Taycan, especially as the design copies its vent in front of the doors.

We’re incredibly interested in what Porsche does, with the Taycan already showing us what can happen when people who love racing cars build an EV instead of people who love to code. The Macan is apparently undergoing electrification next, and we’re expecting big things.
