F1 News: Mick Schumacher’s Haas Sets On Fire During FP3 Spanish Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher is met with bad luck during FP3 of the Spanish Grand Prix. With the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya being a track heavy on the cars’ brakes, it wasn’t a surprise to see Schumacher’s rear right brake set on fire.

As you can see from the tweet above, the flames ripped through the carbon fibre brake surround with it being contained within the wheel area.

Thanks to this incident, it could be unlikely that Schumacher will be able to make qualifying later today. He’s certainly out of this practice session, according to Ted Kravitz.

More news as it comes.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
