F1: Lewis Hamilton Suffers Puncture On First Lap After Contact With Haas

The Spanish Grand Prix has started with bad luck for Lewis Hamilton after Kevin Magnussen in the Haas hits his front left tyre. Both cars were forced to pit with Hamilton suffering a puncture, pushing him to the back of the race alongside Magnussen.

The Mercedes has suffered a bit of damage. The diffusor has been damaged, and we’re unsure as to whether the front wing has also been damaged.

“I would save this engine if I were you guys, I’m sorry,” Lewis Hamilton radios in from 19th place.

Mercedes has told Hamilton to push for points, but Hamilton doesn’t seem too optimistic.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
