F1 News: Charles Leclerc On His Brilliant Singapore GP Performance – “I Gave Everything”

Despite putting up one hell of a fight against the Red Bull of Sergio Perez, Charles Leclerc brought home a well-deserved P2 for Ferrari at the Singapore Grand Prix. He was very happy with his performance during what is one of the toughest races on the F1 calendar.

With Max Verstappen racing his way from the middle of the grid, Leclerc was wanting to collect as many points as possible to bring the two racing drivers together in the Driver Standings and to prevent Verstappen from clinching the championship.

“I gave everything the whole race,” Leclerc told the press after the race. “The bad start put us on the back foot. it cost us the race after that. I had a bit of wheelspin and no performance there. Difficult. A good night sleep and we’ll get ready for Japan”

Teammate Carlos Sainz finished P3 bringing home more points for the Italian team, with Sergio Perez taking home the win. At least, as far as we know with a potential penalty for the Spaniard looming.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
