F1 News: First Look From Charles Leclerc Around The Miami Grand Prix Track

It’s fair to say, the F1 is truly making its mark at the new Miami Grand Prix. Testing hasn’t even begun, and yet social media has been awash with drivers enjoying their time in the area as temperatures soar and the sun shines. Even fans who are watching through their phones are warming to the track as it weaves through the car park of the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium.

We’ve been promised plenty of on-track action with a number of overtaking zones and high speed sections designed by British-based Apex Circuit Design, obviously with input from Formula 1. Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas shot praise at the circuit:

“Actually it was nice to see that it seems to be a really good track for overtaking,” he said.

“I think the way the track has been planned, I think, from my side, it looks positive. It should be good racing. Pretty long straights and a couple of really good overtaking opportunities.

“So let’s see how it is done in real life, but to me on paper, it looks good. And I’m sure as an event it’s going to be pretty amazing.”

Now, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has given us our first look at the track from a driver’s point of view, so we can enjoy the 19 corners and 5.41km of track via the 2022 Formula 1 Game.

Take a look, soak in some in-game sun, and we’ll see you over the weekend for what’s promising to be a brilliant bit of racing.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
