F1 News: Max Verstappen Launches All New Racing Team – Verstappen.com Racing

Red Bull driver and 2021 F1 world champion Max Verstappen has revealed a new racing team to the name of Verstappen.com Racing. This has launched in with Red Bull being a founding partner of the project.

This new racing team will combine other racing teams from across the virtual and real world, with them now racing under the team name Verstappen.com Racing in everything from sim racing to real world racing. The official press release from the company that Jos Verstappen, father of Max and currently participating in the Belgian Rally Championship, will be joining the team.

Thierry Vermeulen will also be joining as he debuts as a rookie in the ADAC GT Masters championship. Sim racing will see Verstappen.com Racing represented by Team Redline, a team which the F1 driver has worked successfully with before.

With the idea of spotting talent, Max is looking forward to working closely with Red Bull.

“Racing has always been my biggest passion in life, from the moment I first stepped into a go-kart until today. Besides my own Formula 1 career, racing is what I dedicate most of my time to.”

“I am truly happy that, with the Verstappen.com Racing team, I can share the love for racing with drivers and teams I feel closely connected to. Apart from the fun it brings me, I can also share my racing knowledge with them, which hopefully helps everybody to improve themselves.”

“After agreeing upon a long-term deal with Red Bull Racing earlier this year, I am very happy to be part of the Red Bull family for many years to come. The close partnership with Red Bull as a company is also reflected in the fact that they are supporting the Verstappen.com Racing team for the coming years, which makes me very proud. I can’t wait to get started and keep pushing flat out.”

While Max has been incredibly unlucky during the first three races of the 2022 F1 season with his car retiring twice so far with powertrain issues, we’re incredibly excited to see him evolve in the industry.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
