F1 News: Mick Schumacher’s Latest Photo Is A Heart-Wrenching Tribute To His Father Michael

In a recent photo posted by Mick Schumacher to his Instagram account, the Haas racing driver stands besides Robert Irwin, son of the late but great presenter Steve Irwin. This heart-wrenching photo pushed fans of the two to express their love for the fact they’ve both continued their fathers’ legacies.

Both Mick and Robert are sons of legends who have been, in one way or another, taken away from what fans believe were their true calling in life. Mick’s father, Michael Schumacher, is one of the most legendary F1 drivers known to the world but unfortunately suffered a life-changing injury while skiing which has forced him to stay away from public viewing. Because of this, we don’t truly know the extent of his injuries, but his fans have been wishing him and his family the best since the incident.

Robert’s father, Steve Irwin, was a devoted father and conservationist. He was taken away far too early after he suffered a fatal attack from a stingray.

Fans of the two were obviously moved by the photo as Mick visited Australia Zoo as the Australian Grand Prix nears.

He posted the following caption:

“Crikey! What an experience🐊Growing up watching Steve Irwin on his wild adventures, visiting @australiazoo is/was really amazing. Seeing how his family carry on his legacy is truly inspiring, thank you so much Robert!! I encourage everyone to check out @wildlifewarriorsworldwide to get a deeper understanding of their important animal conservation work🙏”

Fans were obviously moved by this, with one commenting:

“Two sons continuing the legacies of their legendary fathers. You love to see it.”

Another adds:

“The sons of two legends.”

Robert himself replied to the photo:

“Thanks mate 🙏🐊 great to meet ya!”

A video posted within the same carrousel, showed Robert feeding a crocodile, truly continuing his father’s work.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
