F1 Reveal Yet Another Record Max Verstappen Broke In 2022

Formula 1 has revealed yet another record that Max Verstappen broke in the 2022 season. The Belgian-Dutch driver, who races for Red Bull, dominated the season, winning 15 races and taking home the driver’s championship at the Japanese Grand Prix. His success also led Red Bull to victory in the constructor’s championship at the Austin Grand Prix.

But Verstappen’s accomplishments don’t stop there. Formula 1 recently announced that he also broke the record for the most points scored in a single season, with a total of 454 points. The news was shared on Twitter, along with a graph showing Verstappen’s points total for the past few seasons. In 2021, he achieved 395.5 points, and this jumped to 454 in 2022.

Fans were quick to react to the news on social media, with many expressing their admiration for Verstappen’s impressive performances. One fan wrote:

“This guy has just been on another level for the last 2 years! I honestly hope Mercedes and Ferrari have slightly faster packages in 2023 just so we have an entertaining season because if they’re equal/slower to Red Bull, this guy is running away with his 3rd WDC.”

Another fan commented that Verstappen’s record-breaking season demonstrates that he is an “extremely mature driver” who will continue to dominate Formula 1 for many years to come.

Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, also had a strong season, but it was clear that Verstappen was the dominant force in the Red Bull car. As the 2023 season approaches, Red Bull fans are surely excited to see what the two-time champion will accomplish next. The season begins with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 5th, with pre-season testing occurring the week prior. It will be interesting to see if any of the other teams can step up and challenge Verstappen and Red Bull for the top spot.
