Jeremy Clarkson Gives Us Sneak Peak At His New Solo Farming Show On Amazon

Y’know, there are still people who are questioning whether or not we’re joking when we tell you that Jeremy Clarkson is doing a show for Amazon Prime Video on farming. Seriously, we’re not joking! And now The Grand Tour presenter has given us a sneak peak into the behind the scenes of his new solo show.

Sat in his tractor, Clarkson can be seen behind the wheel with his ‘big rig’, and what a view it is. But, despite his 2.4 million followers on Instagram, he’s staying silent on any release date for the new show.

He said this to The Sunday Times:

‘This is not Kate Humble – much as I like Kate Humble – with 20 acres, bottle-feeding a lamb. Or a TV presenter who grows veg in his back garden This is actual farming: Life, death and form filling,’ he told the Sunday Times.

‘We’re not making Countryfile. We’ll be showing it warts and all. For example, I have no view on badger culling in terms of whether it’s necessary, but if it’s happening we will not shy away from putting it in the programme.’

It’s not only Clarkson taking it solo to produce something other than The Grand Tour. Richard Hammond and James May are also taking things into their own hands.

James May is travelling Japan in an effort to explain the country to us all in a show called Our Man In Japan, and Richard Hammond is taking on all sorts of engineering feats in Richard Hammond’s Big.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]

  1. When i heard that he had acquired a farm and was having a go at squirrels i thought lets have a farming program presented with the Clarkson touch. Have some good Yorkshire farmers showing the way it has always been done and our Jeremy giving his version, things can only get better.

  2. If Clarkson’s had a show where he’s commenting on growing grass or drying paint it would still be the best thing on TV

  3. Clarkesons ace at whatever he does .miss him and his gang at Top Gear .I d vote for him as my local ,representative Member of parliament 😊👍in a instance
