Fans of Top Gear and The Grand Tour have taken to Reddit to announce they’ve found an Easter Egg in the London version of Ken Block’s Gymkhana series.

Ken Block’s Gymkhana series is a phenomenon in the world of viral videos, showcasing the incredible driving skills of the late Ken Block as he navigated through closed courses with his legendary high performance cars.

The series began in 2008 with the release of “Gymkhana Practice,” and since then, several more videos have been released, each featuring Block performing a wide variety of precision driving stunts, such as drifting, donuts, and high-speed driving. The videos are filmed in a closed course, often in an industrial setting, and showcase Block’s incredible car control and driving skills.

The Gymkhana series has amassed millions of views on the internet and has become a global sensation, made only more iconic after Ken Block sadly passed away earlier this year.

Now, Redditors have spotted a hilarious Easter Egg.

The video being discussed is the Ken Block Drifts London – EXTENDED Director’s Cut video Top Gear itself posted to YouTube. It debuted 6 years ago and amassed 70m views in that time. The Redditor spotted the Stig, who is very briefly sat on a bench in the background of the shot around the 6:40 mark reading a newspaper.

With Matt LeBlanc in the passenger seat of the Hoonicorn, the pair continue to create tyre smoke around England’s capital city as onlookers watch on, admiring his incredible level of driving skill.

“Can’t believe this is where I found out about Ken Block,” one comment says as another responds how sad it is.

A third adds: “It really is, he seemed like an all around nice guy. Just a dude living his dream of playing with fast cars. Why do people like that have to die so early?”
