The Grand Tour On Hold Due To The Coronavirus But Next Episode Is Ready
With The Grand Tour massively changing after its third season with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May leaving the tent behind for a life of specials, there’s one question that’s been on everyone’s mind. When is the next episode coming out?
Season 4 and 5 are reportedly only consisting of two episodes each, and with this huge drop in episodes from the previous seasons, it’s no surprise that fans are starting to itch.
One fan took to Twitter to get some information:
We have one pretty much ready to go and when this virus business is settled, we will head off to do two more.
— Jeremy Clarkson (@JeremyClarkson) March 7, 2020
Clarkson was quick to reply, admitting that the next episode is ready to go, but the “virus business” is stopping them from heading off to film the next two.
Jonathan Spalding pushed for more information about what’s going to happen after Season 5.
Any Grand Tour plans beyond those additional 2?

Clarkson replied forcefully:
Give us a break.

“Give us a break,” he replies.
Maybe you haven’t heard. There’s a virus you see and it’s making international travel tricky

The Coronavirus is steadily spreading, with a reported 200 confirmed cases in the UK alone. This has obviously put a strain on international travel, and with looming quarantines and history of illness, it’s no surprise that The Grand Tour is sitting in wait for news of safety.
We’ll keep you updated with more news as it comes.
Two episodes a season? Seriously? Look anyone with any brain knows international travel is ill advised right now, but the hiatus happened before coved-19. I hear JC, RH, JM and AW wound up their production Company recently. So, Amazon, how about just fessing up. These Fab Four have given us immense enjoyment for years now. If they’ve thrown the towel in, then good luck to them, and thanks for all the fun, but Amazon, why not just be honest about it?
