This 1400hp Mustang Mach-E Made By Ford Is Insane

The Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 promises to push the boundaries of electrical-vehicle performance. It has a stupendous seven electric motors under the hood, which together, produce over 1,400 horsepower.

The particular model you see here is reserved for display at the upcoming NASCAR races and its drivetrain has multiple motors powering both the front and the rear of the vehicle, with three motors powering the front wheels and four at the rear. This particular system can be modified to suit the needs and requirements of the driver too.

Unlike the rest of the car, the brakes actually remain somewhat old fashioned, with Brembo brake components and a hydraulic handbrake are both included. As well as this an electronic brake booster system, ABS, stability control and regenerative braking also feature.

Vaughn Gittin Jr, RTR Vehicles founder and professional racing driver, said of the Mach-E 1400:

“Getting behind the wheel of this car has completely changed my perspective on what power and torque can be”

The Mustang Mach-E comes from over 10,000 hours of blood, sweat and tears from Ford Performance and RTR. The 1400 uses a stock Mach-E white body kit but has been extensively modified. For example the adaptable drivetrain allows the race team to swap between four, front or rear wheel drive.

While you won’t be able to saunter down to your local Ford dealership and put in your order for a 1,400 horsepower Mach-E, Ford have said the vehicle is a basis of what is to come. An example would be using organic composite fibres in the hood rather than carbon fibre, something you can expect to see across Ford’s range in the coming years.

The most powerful Mach-E you’ll be able to get your hands on is the Mach-E GT which offers 459 horsepower and 830 Nm of torque. Not quite as crazy as the Mach-E 1400 but you can rest assured the GT will still pack a very strong punch.
